Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate registration information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Description of Services

Arji.ai is a cloud-native, AI-powered administrative drafting engine for public documentation ecosystems. The Services enable professional typists, MeeSeva operators, CSC centers, and enterprise API consumers to generate context-aware administrative grievances, appeals, escalation letters, and related documents using retrieval-augmented generation and department-specific compliance templates.

3. Beta Access Terms

Certain features may be offered as private or public beta ("Beta Services"). By participating in a beta program, you acknowledge that:

• Beta Services are provided "as is" and may be incomplete, unstable, or changed without notice
• Features, pricing, and availability may change before general release
• We may suspend or terminate beta access at any time
• Beta data, drafts, or configurations may not be preserved after beta ends
• Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation
• Beta participation does not guarantee continued access or specific pricing at launch

4. SaaS Subscription and Usage

Paid plans (including Operator Lite, Professional Counter Pack, and Enterprise API) are subject to the pricing and features published on our website or in a separate order form. You agree to pay all applicable fees. Usage-based plans are billed per draft or per agreed volume. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled per our billing policy. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
• Submit false, defamatory, harassing, or malicious content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent security or usage limits
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services except as expressly permitted under an Enterprise API agreement
• Use the Services to generate content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
• Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Services
• Use automated means to access the Services except via authorized APIs
• Misrepresent AI-generated documents as human-authored official government correspondence without appropriate review and disclosure where required

We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate access at our discretion.

6. AI-Generated Content

Outputs produced by Arji.ai are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for drafting assistance only. We do not provide legal advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying factual accuracy, and approving all documents before use or submission. We disclaim liability for outcomes arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The Services, including software, models, templates, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, are owned by Arjiwala or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services during your subscription or authorized access period.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a worldwide license to host, process, and use Customer Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services, including AI processing and RAG retrieval, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7.3 Output

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use AI-generated outputs for your lawful business purposes. We do not claim ownership of your finalized documents, but underlying models, templates, and system components remain our property.

8. API Terms (Enterprise)

Enterprise API access requires a separate agreement or order form specifying rate limits, SLAs, data handling, and integration requirements. API keys are confidential. You are responsible for all API usage under your credentials.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference into these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARJIWALA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 10,000 (TEN THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arjiwala from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your Customer Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, security risk, or legal requirement. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. You agree to attempt good-faith resolution by contacting support@arji.ai before initiating formal proceedings.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
